ChokingEmergency
Know the proper steps
in any situation
Choking is scary and requires immediate attention. Know what to do... it could save a life!
Call 911. Press on the person's back between the shoulder blades several times. If the choking persists, do the same to the abdomen.
The object should be dislodged quickly. If not, or the person becomes unconscious, don't hesitate to call 911. CPR may be used at this time as well.
